My wife and I spend our wedding anniversary every year at Treasure Island, as well as visiting many years before that. 2006 will mark 10 consecutive years at TI, and we can't get enough of this fabulous Vegas mainstay. Located in the center of the strip, it is easy to get ANYWHERE from here, including Interstate 15, which seasoned Vegasites know is a faster way to most locations around the city. From the days of the pirate theme, to todays "sexed up" theme, Treasure Island has always delivered a fascinating property, first class service, fabulous rooms, and a great casino. Treasure Island was Steve Wynns second major resort, following it's sister The Mirage, and Mr. Wynns vision remains, even though it is now an MGM property. We have always found the hotel and casino to be clean, and the people as friendly as you will find in Vegas. We use their players cards, and have had our rooms and food comped for years now, and the hosts we deal with actually know us by name. But trust us, we are NOT high rollers, we just know that TI seems to respect their customers. For a great Vegas experience and proper respect for your gambling dollars, we assure you that you cannot beat Treasure Island!! | ||||||||||

We just stayed at TI from 4/15-4/22 and had a great time at TI. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly, they let us check in at 11am (short line & it was a holiday weekend), casino staff was nice (sometimes there were $5 tables, but mostly $10 for our week), maid service was prompt & gave us extras of what we needed - towels, pillows. The location is great too, there is a short shuttle ride to the Mirage, next door to the Fashion mall and across from the Venetian. We ate at Canters deli - very good, the buffet for dinner once & breakfast twice - good selection & the desserts, muffins, etc & the pasta station & salad station were VERY good. Navigating the hotel was great. It wasn't a huge hotel like the others on the strip. The elevators to the room are right near the entrance (you need to show a room key after 10pm to the security guard, they were nice). Get to the pool before 10am to guarantee a seat too. The sirens show was okay but we did get to go to the front since we were guests. Tangerine (the club) is free for guests but we didn't have a chance to go. Mystere was very good too. (Other recs for Vegas - we loved/ate at Samba & Onda at the Mirage, Il Fornaio at NY NY, Wolfgang Pucks at MGM & Joe's Steak house at Caesars Forum Shops. Stay away from Bertolini's at Caesars the service wasn't great but the sitting area was nice. I would stay here again. |

The location is great. The rooms are well appointed. The service is grand. The security is not bad. The bar had no menu so you had to know what you wanted to drink. A remarkable place. |
