Had a lovely and memorable time here. The place made grand by its structure, furnishings, service and old history. We were lucky and got seated really close to an internationally famous performer one evening at dinner. Perhaps, it's unexpected experiences such as this that makes you think it was all woth the big money spent.

Tried its famous afternoon teas but had misgivings. Beverages were fine but the food didn't match. Took some bite anyway to be nice but won't ever try it again.

Booked a special family holiday here and we had a blast. The place was cheerfully decorated for the season and our room was very comfortable. Found the location extremely convenient as well. Heartily recommended.
