Accomodations were spartan with especially the bath, but spotless. Bath could use ventilation. Staff were nice enough but service could be improved. Breakfasts were ample and tasteful. Nice location.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel inspite of the reviews we heard. Accomodations were well appointed, spacious and immaculate. Staff were efficient.

We booked and paid in advance in this hotel in the first quarter of the year, only to find out when we got there that there were no rooms available. They ferried us to another hotel with the promise that they arranged accomodations for us there, only to be disappointed again because the 2nd hotel didn't know of the arrangements. By the time things were sorted out we missed our dinner reservations and the opera.
